Automations

Automatically perform actions in SeeRM when specific events occur.

Overview

Automations allow SeeRM to perform actions automatically in the background when specific events happen on an order or lead.

They help reduce manual work and ensure that important steps are always handled consistently.

Access & Management

Only Admins can create and manage automations.

  • Creation and management: Admin → Automations
  • Additional automation settings (to tweak behavior, filters, notifications, etc.): Admin → Settings → Automation

How Automations Work

An automation consists of the following parts:

Trigger

The trigger defines what happens to start the automation.

Examples include:

  • Order creation
  • Order status change
  • Order booked
  • Order control created

New triggers are continuously added.

Action

The action defines what SeeRM will do when the trigger occurs.

Examples include:

  • Create a task on a board
  • Assign an order to a user or squad
  • Send an email
  • Send notifications

New actions are also added over time.

Value

Some actions require a value to be selected.

For example:

  • If the action is Send email, the value would be which template to send

Filters

Filters define which orders or leads are allowed to pass and execute the action.

For example:

  • Trigger: Order creation
  • Filter: Order type = Installation

In this case, the automation will only run for orders with the order type Installation.

Leads

Leads support automations in the same way as orders, using:

  • A trigger
  • Optional filters or conditions
  • An action

This makes it possible to automate common sales steps and follow-ups without manual work.
