Jobs
Run one-off background actions on orders.
Overview
Jobs let SeeRM run actions immediately in the background, one time.
They are ad-hoc tasks you create for a specific purpose, and they run once as soon as they are created.
Access & Management
Only Admins can create and manage jobs.
- Creation and management: Admin → Jobs
How Jobs Work
A job consists of the following parts:
Name
The name is what you call the job, so you can identify it later.
Filter
The filter defines which orders are included when the job runs.
For example:
- Filter: Order type = Installation
In this case, the job will only run for orders with the order type Installation.
Action
The action defines what SeeRM will do for the orders that match the filter.
Jobs and Automations use the same actions — they are just triggered differently.
