Orders

The core working entity in SeeRM.

Orders are the main entity you work with in the system.

Each order must belong to a customer, but a customer can have multiple orders. An order must also have an order type and an order partner. You can read more about Order Types and Order Partners.

Each order has:

  • A unique order name
  • An address
  • Exactly one customer

All users can update order information. Every update is logged as a customer action, which you can read more about in Actions. Only Admins can delete orders completely.

Order Status

An order always starts in the New status. You can read more about all available statuses in Order Statuses.

Orders Overview

Orders are accessible from Main Navigation → Orders, where you are presented with a table of all orders in the system.

In this table view you have:

  • Multiple filters to narrow down orders
  • Free-text search
  • Bulk selection for performing actions on multiple orders

Clicking on an order opens the order page inside the customer view, this view has its own navigation bar.

You can read more about the available sections in the customer view under Navigations.

Orders can only be created:

  • From the Profile section inside the customer view
  • Through uploads, which you can read more about in Order Uploads
  • Through APIs, which you can read more about in APIs

Bulk Actions

When selecting multiple orders in the table, you can perform bulk actions such as:

Booking Confirmation

When booking an order, you can optionally send a confirmation message to the customer. This message can be configured by Admins under Admin → Settings → Order and works similarly to templates. You can read more about templates in Templates.

Structured Order Data

Orders can contain structured information in the form of order info. This data can be added:

  • Through uploads
  • Through APIs

You can read more about this in Order Info.
