Orders

Overview

The Uploading Orders tool allows you to bulk upload orders into SeeRM using Excel files. This is useful when migrating data or creating many orders at once. There is a limit of 50 orders per excel sheet.

Excel Templates

To ensure uploads are done correctly, SeeRM provides Excel templates that clearly define:

• Which information is required
• How data should be formatted
• Which fields are mandatory

Templates can be downloaded from:

Main Page → Tools → Order Uploader

When downloading a template, you must select:

• Order type
• Order partner

This is important, as different order types and partners may require different information.

Then click on Download template

Uploading Orders

Once your Excel file is ready, you can upload it in the same location:

Main Page → Tools → Order Uploader

During upload, you again select:

• Order type
• Order partner

This information is not stored in the Excel file itself and must be specified during the upload.

Then click on Upload Orders

Validation & Error Handling

All uploads are fully validated before any data is created.

• If any error is found, no orders are created
• A clear popup shows:
  • Which row in the Excel file contains the issue
  • What the problem is (for example, missing email or incorrectly formatted address)

This ensures data is always consistent and correct.

Customer Matching

When uploading orders:

• If the customer already exists, the order is added to that customer
• If the customer does not exist, both the customer and the order are created

Customers are identified using:

• Email address
• Phone number

Both must be unique. No two customers can share the same email or phone number.

This is required to ensure all emails, calls, and SMS messages can be correctly linked to the right customer.
