Customers

Overview

The Customer Uploading tool allows you to bulk upload customers without any orders into SeeRM using Excel files. There is a limit of 50 orders per excel sheet.

Excel Templates

To ensure uploads are done correctly, SeeRM provides Excel templates for you.

Templates can be downloaded from:

Main Page → Tools → Order Uploader

Then click on Download template under the Customer Uploading box.

Uploading Customers

Once your Excel file is ready, you can upload it in the same location:

Main Page → Tools → Order Uploader

Then click on Upload Orders under the Customer Uploading box.

Validation & Error Handling

All uploads are fully validated before any data is created.

• If any error is found, no customers are created
• A clear popup shows:
  • Which row in the Excel file contains the issue
  • What the problem is (for example, missing email or incorrectly formatted address)

This ensures data is always consistent and correct.

Customer Matching

Customers are identified using:

• Email address
• Phone number

Both must be unique. No two customers can share the same email or phone number.

This is required to ensure all emails, calls, and SMS messages can be correctly linked to the right customer.
