Types
Define different kinds of leads and their default values.
Lead types are created under Admin → Leads → Types.
Each type has:
- A name
- A value, which becomes the default lead value if the lead is won
- Days to close, which decides how many days after creation the lead is expected to close
Types make it easier to standardize how different leads are handled.
For example, if a lead is created with a type that has:
- Value =
15000 - Days to close =
14
then the lead will use that value as its expected won value and get a close date based on 14 days from creation.
